It was a complete reverse of fortune for the Beach Boys as they came out strong from the start, hitting a few posts and controlling the game as they defeated the Tomahawks 14 – 7.
Mike Lalani started for the Beach  and played a very strong game in his first start of 2014, holding Missy to 2 goals in the first two periods. The offense, with some nice long break passes and loose ball control rolled over the Mississauga. John St. John showing some of the same shooting prowess of his dad Paul, scored 3 short handed goals in a row for a natural shorthanded hat-trick, with the assistance of a couple of them being long bomb passes from Ryan Lee.
Mississauga finally got loosened up in the 3rd period outscoring the Beach 5 to 3, but the damage had already been done. The Beach Boys will need the same kind of offensive drive in order to take care of some challenging road games this week against St. Catharines on Wednesday night and the Brampton Excelsiors two nights later on the Friday. The Beaches next home game is Friday, June 13 as the Barrie Lakeshores come to Ted Reeve.
